Learn Resiliency
How might we develop resilient employees in critical sectors?
̌
Breaking down a complex capability like resiliency into smaller competencies allows for more dedicated practice time to develop a set of actions and behaviors.
Learners start every lesson getting to know Dot. This was fun to design and an interesting technical challenge, as every lesson needed to launch the next part of the dialogue and the order of the lessons was non-sequential.
Designing each lesson for three core behaviors provided the learners with mental models for resiliency while allowing the designs to scale due to reusable templates.
Concepts like logic can be pretty convoluted; a quick Wiki search and you'll find references to philosophy, math, cognitive science, and many other disciplines. It’s easy to get too heady or convoluted with content. An easy way to avoid that trap is to let learners play within a concept and follow with a metacognitive question.
